FAQs

CANNAKI FAQ’S

What is CANNAKI CBD Water?

CANNAKI is a functional flavorful beverage enriched with CBD. Available in 4 still and 4 sparkling
flavors. (Derived from certified organic industrial hemp and contains NO THC)

What do people use CBD for?

Cancer, pain, arthritis, muscle spasms, seizures, neurological and digestive disorders, anxieties,
obsessions, past traumas, withdrawal, mood and memory.

Drinking CANNAKI® CBD Water can help you stay hydrated while simultaneously nourishing your
endocannabinoid system.

The endocannabinoid system is responsible for regulating balance in
our body’s immune response, communication between cells, appetite, metabolism, memory,
and more.

CBD interacts with the body through the endogenous cannabinoid system (ECS)
or endocannabinoid system.

First discovered in the late 1980’s, the endocannabinoid
system regulates the body’s homeostasis, or general state of balance, impacting such
functions as mood, sleep, appetite, hormone regulation, and pain and immune response.
Four primary purposes of the (ECS) include neuroprotection;
1. Stress Recovery.
2. Immune Balance.
3. Homeostatic Regulation.
4. Creates Optimum Energy Balance in the Body.

Somehow, CBD seems to tap into this balancing system to produce its therapeutic effects. CBD
is able to interact with cells in our bodies because the molecule has a similar composition to
similar chemicals that the human body produces naturally, called endocannabinoids.

What is hemp?

Hemp, or industrial hemp, typically found in the northern hemisphere, is a variety of the Cannabis
sativa plant species that is grown specifically for the industrial uses of its derived products.

Is industrial hemp and marijuana the same?

Short Answer: No, they are just both part of the Cannabis family. Hemp is completely different
from marijuana in its function, cultivation and application. To be considered hemp, the plant must
contain “less than < 0.3% of THC”.

CANNAKI industrial hemp is certified organic and licensed, grown and regulated under the
Agricultural Farm Bill Act of 2014.

So how can you actually tell the difference?

Looking at its appearance, makeup, and natural adaptability can differentiate hemp and
marijuana.

The main difference between the two is in its chemical composition, specifically in
tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). THC is the chemical responsible marijuana’s psychological effect.
An average batch of marijuana contains anywhere from 5-20% THC content. Hemp, on the other
hand, has a max THC level of 0.3%, essentially making it impossible to feel any psychoactive
effect or get a “high”. This threshold is heavily regulated in other states and countries that have
legalized hemp. Hemp also has high cannabidiol (CBD) content.

Is hemp-derived CBD legal?

If we’re talking about hemp-derived CBD, then the answer is yes. Now, the keyword here is
“hemp-derived.” Because CBD from hemp has no psychoactive effects, the purchase, sales, or
possession of hemp CBD products are completely legal in all 50 States. Because hemp is
sometimes confused with the marijuana plant, there is still some stigma towards hemp-derived
CBD, but from a legal perspective, hemp-derived CBD is completely legal and enjoys the rights of
any other legal product.

Does CANNAKI CBD Water contain any THC at all?

None. Zero. Nada. 0%.

Is CANNAKI CBD Water lab tested to certify there is NO THC inside?

Yes, all CANNAKI products come with a Certification of Analysis from an ISO accredited
laboratory certifying the product contains NO THC and free of microbial contamination.
ISO Lab accreditation is in accordance with the recognized International Standard ISO/IEC
17025:2005. This accreditation demonstrates technical competence for a defined scope and the
operation of a laboratory quality managements system refer joint ISO-ILAC-IAF Communique
date 18 June 2005.

Is there a certificate of analysis available?

Yes, you can find up to date certificates of analysis on the CANNAKI website (www.cannaki.com)
and also accessible directly via a QR code printed on each bottle label. Simply use your phone to
scan the QR code printed on each label.
Providing a certificate of analysis allows your mind to rest at ease knowing you are getting the
very best product available.

Does CANNAKI follow Good Manufacturing Procedures?

Yes. We adhere to HACCP program to ensure food safety. This system identifies, evaluates, and
controls hazards that are significant for food safety. It covers the entire food production process
from raw materials to distribution and consumption.

Are you FDA Compliant?

We follow and comply to Nevada Health Department NAC 445A. and the U.S. FDA 21 CFR
according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) part 110 and 111, Beverage/Bottle
Water Standards part 165.

Do you have SQF Certification?

Our bottling is Safe Quality Food (SQF) Certified. The Safe Quality Food (SQF) standard is an
internationally recognized, independent food safety standard, which is administered by the Safe
Quality Food Institute (SQFI), a division of the Food Marketing Institute (FMI).

Do you have organic certification?

Yes. Our industrial hemp farm and bottling facilities are both certified organic.

What’s the role of Nanotechnology in CANNAKI CBD Water?

Today NanoSphere encapsulated cannabinoids manufactured as stable viscoelastic
nanoparticles is a major advancement in Cannaki® CBD bioavailability. Nanoparticles can
increase solubility and stability of phytochemicals, enhance their absorption, protect them from
premature degradation in the body, and prolong their circulation time.
Nanosized Cannabinoids, are proven effective as carriers for oral, sublingual, buccal, intranasal
and transdermal delivery. Their fluidity, adhesive and viscoelastic properties effectively transport
cannabinoids across cell mucosal membranes into the blood stream, past the blood brain barrier,
binding to receptors and signal transduction.
• Nanosized Cannabinoids can enter the bloodstream within15 minutes and achieve peak
blood concentrations within 60 minutes.
• Nanosized Cannabinoids can increase the bioavailability bioactivity of cannabinoids 2-
fold to 8-fold compared to bioavailability without encapsulation.
• Nanosized Cannabinoids can decrease the dose of cannabinoids 2-fold to 8-fold less
than an amount of cannabinoids needed to produce the same effect compared to non-
encapsulated cannabinoids.

• Lipid based Nanosized Cannabinoids are highly-stable, biocompatible, biodegradable
and easily produced by versatile and scalable and replicable unified sequential assembly
process.
• Nanoparticles can increase solubility and stability of phytochemicals, enhance their
absorption, protect them from premature degradation in the body, and prolong their
circulation time.
